Since I was 14 years old my friends would ask me to do their hair. I would come to school with stripes of green and blue, all over yellow, what we now call vivids, braids, purples, pinks, blonde you name it. My dad’s friend was a stylist at Sally Hershberger at John Frieda’s and he would come over for dinner every Monday. We called it Teddy night. He saw talent in me and suggested I do hair since I also love anything creative. It’s now I been 22 years licensed. I’ve had Neighborhood for 14 years. Wow. I’ve trained under some of the best in all the techniques assisting 3 years before taking clients as a stylist; just the beginning my 24 year career doing hair. I am currently training Brenda P., our licensed junior stylist. She is taking haircuts under my tutelage. Please inquire or schedule a haircut with us or just me.I was raised and have grown up in a creative background on both sides of my family. I do think it helps me in doing hair. I specialize in wash and wear, but I do a lot of vivid color, fun color placement, and highlights, ALL OF IT!!! I can also do that updo. I try to fit your look to suite you and your lifestyle. Hi I’m Brenda a proud Latina, born and raised in LA with a passion for hair. I’m a Paul Mitchell Phase 2 graduate, trained in advanced cutting, color, and styling techniques. I am dedicated to helping clients feel confident and beautiful. Currently assisting and taking clients as a licensed stylist assisted by a Master Stylist for finite guidance. I love a little hair adventure! I can’t wait to meet you and have you in my chair!
